The Crinan Hotel
Crinan Fine Art
Contemporary Scottish Art from the Crinan Hotel
The Crinan Hotel is renowned as a Gallery venue on Scotland's west coast. Owner Frances Macdonald and her son Ross Ryan are well established Scottish contemporary artists and regularly exhibit at the Crinan Gallery.
Works by Frances are in several important private collections at home and abroad as well as corporate collections including Fleming's Scottish Collection. Paintings by Frances Macdonald can be viewed at her dedicated web site - www.francesmacdonald.co.uk. Frances is represented in Scotland by The Scottish Gallery and in London by The Portland Gallery.
When he is not travelling the globe or sailing, Ross Ryan works from his print studio in the Old Boathouse at Crinan Ferry. Fully equipped for Collograph, Monoprinting, Etching and Woodcut prints, this is where Ross creates his print series and develops new projects. Examples of Ross's work can be seen at The Scottish Gallery in Edinburgh.
Throughout the seasons the Crinan Gallery mounts a number of exhibtions featuring local and prominent Scottish artists. Full details can be found on the Crinan Gallery Exhibitions page.
