terminal building, and follow signs onto the M8 westbound, towards Erskine Bridge

at the end of the bridge, take the A82 for Crianlarich

the A82 past Dumbarton and along Loch Lomond to Tarbet

Tarbet bear left, taking the A83 through Arrochar towards Campbeltown o

At Inverary follow Campbeltown signs to Lochgilphead

At Lochgilphead follow the signs to A8 16 to Oban

After 2 miles take the left turn to Crinan through Cairnbaan
on B841.

Follow all signs to Crinan

Glasgow continue on M8, over Erskine Bridge

TRAVELING TO CRINAN
Nowadays it is possible to leave London and approx 3 hours later
be at the Crinan Hotel. Air travel to Glasgow and Edinburgh is relatively easy
these days with regular arrivals by Easyjet/British Midlands. (see information
below)

If you are travelling by train our nearest
rail station is Oban which is approx 1 hours drive away.
Should
you be touring the area by car, you might considered arriving on the Mull of Kintyre
by ferry from the Isle of Arran. Calmac, Scotland's major ferry operator, has
more than one ferry terminal on the islands so you can arrive at one point and
leave from the other end of the island.
